There is great expectation about the huge mall being built by a company called Broadway Megaplex in Coimbatore.
A huge commercial complex is being built in Indira Nagar area at Civil Aerodrome Post along Avinasi Road near Coimbatore Airport.
A company called Broadway Megaplex is involved in this work. The mall is named ‘Broadway Mall’.
It is noteworthy that this is the 4th mall to come to Coimbatore. It will include shops, cinemas, sports halls, hypermarkets, fashion retail shops, hotels, restaurants etc.
IMAX Theater
There is a mega theater with a total of 9 screens named Broadway Cinemas.
A screen ‘IMAX‘ is the biggest surprise for the people of Coimbatore. It will be South India’s first IMAX theater with laser technology and EPIQ technology.
As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, Chennai has only one IMAX screen at Velachery Phoenix Mall.
The Magnus Luxury Hotel
Subsequently, the second IMAX theater is set up in Coimbatore. These theaters come with modern technical facilities and constructions which are expected to attract the audience.
Broadway Cinemas was designed by Los Angeles-based Giovanni Castor. Next is a 38-room luxury hotel named ‘The Magnus’.
Food Court
It has been designed by Paradigm Shift Studio based in Bangkok. It is also loaded with advanced features.
Next is the ‘Food Court’ with more than 15 dining facilities. It will be a great opportunity to taste a variety of cuisines from Indian to International. Apart from this, a grand hall will be used for holding events.
This is a first in South India
The Broadway Mall in Coimbatore was scheduled to be completed last year. But the work could not be done due to various reasons.
According to reports, the opening ceremony will be completed in June. The mall with such huge facilities is said to be the first in Coimbatore after Delhi and Mumbai.
